EWTN will broadcast live the beatification Mass of Alvaro del Portillo, which will take place on Saturday, September 27, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Madrid time (11:00 a.m. - 1 p.m. Nigerian time).

The beatification Mass will be carried live on all 11 of EWTN's regional language channels: Africa/South Asia, Canada, United States, United States HD, United States-Spanish, United States-Spanish HD, Spanish International, United Kingdom/Ireland, Germany, Europe, and Pacific Rim.

Immediately before the live broadcast of the ceremony, EWTN will also carry a half-hour interview with the Prelate of Opus Dei, Bishop Javier Echevarria, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Madrid time (10.30 a.m Nigerian time). The interview will be carried on both EWTN's English and Spanish-language channels.
